Axel, a lonely man with Asperger’s syndrome decides it is a good idea to reunite the band he was in as a teenager. Having lost contact with his bandmates Javier and Lucas after dissolving the band, Axel decides to rig a contest that aims to rescue mythical rock bands of the 80s and 90s.
Javier is now a high school geography teacher. He is also a recent widow and has a 13-year-old son who feels increasingly disappointed in him. Meanwhile, Lucas, recently divorced, just lost his job.
With crises in their careers, families and relationships, the memories of their musical heyday prove a temptation that’s hard to resist; 25 years after they missed their big break, this second chance at success might just be their salvation. By turns hilarious and moving, Gabriel Nesci brings us another musical delight.
